🌑 EventTotal Solar Eclipse

2 August 2027 will be unlike any other day.

As the morning progresses, the sunlight softens. Shadows sharpen. The air cools. The landscape falls strangely quiet.

Then the Moon completely covers the Sun, revealing the ghostly solar corona — one of the rarest and most unforgettable sights in nature.

One of the finest eclipse opportunities in Europe this century.
More than 3½ minutes of totality from our carefully selected observing region.

Why Southern Spain?

Our expedition is based in the Málaga province of Andalusia, combining excellent travel access, outstanding scenery, strong summer weather prospects and a prime position inside the path of totality.

We fly in and out of Málaga, with our accommodation approximately one hour from Málaga International Airport.

The precise eclipse observing location is selected for the best combination of sky conditions, access and viewing experience.

The Sun documentary

Andy Keen appeared in The Sun, directed by Fabian Wolf and produced by SPIEGEL TV.

Andy was invited to contribute because of his extensive knowledge of the Aurora Borealis, which he has been chasing and photographing since 2008.

The Sun, nearly 93 million miles (150 million km) from Earth, is the birthplace of the aurora through solar wind and charged particles.

His long-standing interests in solar activity, deep-sky imaging and landscape astrophotography bring genuine real-world experience to this expedition.
